Terms of Service

Last updated: March 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the BTCVPN website, applications, and VPN services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Ceres Technology ("we," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and acceptance

You must have the legal capacity required by applicable law to enter into and be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws that apply where you are. We may refuse or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users.

2. The Service

We provide VPN connectivity, related client software and updates, and a website to learn about, purchase, and manage the Service. Features may change over time; we may add, modify, or discontinue portions of the Service as reasonably necessary for security, compliance, or network operations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Coverage, speed, and availability depend on many factors outside our control, including your device, network, and third-party networks.

3. Account and security

You may need to create an account to use paid features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Unless we expressly permit otherwise, each subscription is for your personal use or your organization's internal business use only, and must not be shared with others in a way that circumvents limits or resale rules.

Unless we notify you otherwise, you may use the Service on up to ten (10) devices simultaneously under a single subscription. We may enforce this device limit to maintain network quality and fair use.

4. Fees, billing, and renewal

Paid plans, prices, and billing cycles are as shown at checkout or in your account when you purchase. Taxes and payment processing fees may apply as displayed.

Unless a specific plan or checkout flow states otherwise, subscriptions do not renew automatically by default. If your plan includes auto-renewal and you do not wish to continue, cancel or turn off renewal before the next billing date using the options shown in your account, or contact support.

If you no longer wish to continue a paid subscription and you are eligible, you may request a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy. Where applicable, submitting an eligible refund request is your path to ending paid access.

5. Refunds

Our refund rules, including the 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible new purchases, are set out in the Refund Policy. That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference for refund matters only.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not in a way that harms others or our network. Without limiting the foregoing, you must not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe others' rights;
  • Send spam or malware, or engage in phishing or fraudulent activity;
  • Attack, scan, or probe systems or networks without authorization;
  • Use the Service to distribute unlawful content, or to harass, threaten, or abuse others;
  • Attempt to circumvent authentication, billing, technical limits, or security controls;
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent;
  • Use the Service in a manner that imposes unreasonable load on our infrastructure or disrupts other users;
  • Scrape or collect data from our systems or others using the Service in violation of third-party terms or applicable law.

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access without prior notice where we reasonably believe it necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

7. Third-party services

Parts of the Service rely on independent vendors—for example payment processing, transactional email, hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, and customer support tools. Your use of those components may also be subject to those third parties' own terms and privacy notices.

We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. Except where law requires otherwise, your relationship with those vendors is between you and them.

8. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that it will be continuous, timely, secure, or error-free.

9. Intellectual property

The Service (including software, branding, and content we provide) is owned by Ceres Technology or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the client software only as part of using the Service. Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the site with an updated "Last updated" date. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
